My buddy has a 2009 Sebring 4 door and the car has no brake lights. It has taillights but no brake lights. The signals work great. Any suggestion

Brake Switch. Its either bad or not adjusted properly.

Check fuses first. Probably the brake switch, looks like it is under the hood. See pic .
Directions to remove Brake Switch:
Depress and hold the brake pedal.
Remove the stop lamp switch (2) from it's bracket on the brake pedal assembly (6). To do so, rotate the stop lamp switch in a counterclockwise direction approximately 30 degrees from its proper mounting position. Pull the switch rearward and remove it from its mounting bracket.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the switch.
