changing to disc brakes

hello i hae a 71 scamp /6 auto and was wondering since i plan on dropping in a 383 i want to know my options on disc brakes. are there cheap ways to do this right??

Find a 73-up A-body with disc and get the whole setup including the upper controll arms. Find a 4-door in a junk yard.

I used vented rotors aprox $80 or factory replacements $18 ea
re-man calipers (GM) $15 each

caddy brake hoses 17 each
ceramic pads $49 or you can use the oem brakes at $29
scarebird brackets $105
reman MC $20
and a redisule valve from MP brakes approx $20

adjustable portioning valve e-bay about $28


and the best part i was able to use my 14 inch rallys wheels
5 on 4,

I also drive my dart everyday, rain, snow or shine..
