Tune up time '05 T&C - 02/26/12 10:54 PM

Mini van with 3.8L
Seem to recall the interval is 100k miles and the van just turned 90k. Figured I would order wires, plugs and cap from rock auto and get this done in the next couple months. Anything out of the ordinary with this tune-up I should be aware of? Are the forward plug(s) firewall side plugs reachable with the intake in place?
Thnx

There is no cap to change. The rear plugs are accessable from the top with the intake manifold in place . The air inlet hose and upper air cleaner housing can be removed for improved access tho.

I would clean the p.s. resevoir out real good and install some new +4 atf while you're under hood. Unless you've done that job already. I too have gotten the rear plugs out from under hood but you may have to leave the puffy coat behind.

I don't do anything unless I'm wearing my puffy coat!

You can also remove the wiper cowl to access the rear plugs. It's not real hard to remove. Rove the wiper arms, then cowl grill. Once that's off you can access the bolts that hold the wiper tray in. Maybe six bolts? Unplug the wiper motor and washer fluid hose and the whole tray comes out. I know that sounds like alot of work , but really only takes a few minutes to do. It really opens up the area behind the motor.
