72-74 Challenger, E-body rear brake bracket.... - 02/20/12 03:47 PM

Anybody know if these are repoped? I lost mine.....where can you buy these??? any help appreciated.....Thanks, Moparts

I picked on up on Ebay for cheap.

If your not looking at Restoration then get a bracket from nearly any mid 70's Mopar and bend it to look like that one.

Maybe somebody knows of a repop but I do not.

There was 1 on there the other day that was sold .....it was the only one.....thanks though.......i could also use one off a 70-71 ebody I guess .....looking for something that will work that would be close.......but would prefer one for 72-74 e-bodies.........if anyone has one for sale.....let me know ....Thanks again....

71's also used that bracket I think. AMD might make a repro one.

It's located on the floor pan infront of the rear axle housing. It holds the rear brake hose inplace.

By the rear drivers side wheel....holding brake hose and cable......70-71 used a different one but I'll take either style if anyone has one.....

this is a 1970 Cuda

bolts just above the drivers side resonator hanger

Did you put a want add on this site? It should be an easy bracket to find. Also, check out Cuda-challenger.com Someone should have one.

Yep, posted want ad....no hits yet ....found one in AZ at StevesParts....he is sending but says it's really rusted and pitted with holes......just seeing if I might be able to get another lined up if that one doesnt work .......I'll check the site you mentioned......

Thanks Jim, ....found one in AZ at StevesParts....he is sending but says it's really rusted and pitted with holes ......I'm sure my brother will make one or the other work.....lol
