Bench to Bucket seat floor mount brackets what works? - 02/10/12 02:28 AM
72 Charger changed from bench to buckets. PO just drilled holes. Not safe and need proper brackets and hardware. I have searched and can only find 68-70 repopped. Is there another source and just what parts are needed? Sherman makes a part called FT Floor support brace front and rear. I don't that is for the seat. Any ideas? Thanks

Went from bench to buckets in my '72 and even with new Pro Car seat I had to fab my own brackets.

It's just a piece of metal tacked onto the floor. I just used a few 2.5" diameter washers when I did mine years ago. Held up fine for 8 years of daily driving before I took it apart again.
