Need help from the newer car techs..... - 10/15/08 01:09 AM

I don't know if I am posting this in the right area but I need to know where to hook up the green wire on an aftermarket tach on a 2001 Plymouth Neon. The wire would normally hook to the negative side of the coil on a car with a coil but this is a distributorless ignition. It has a coil pack mounted on the valve cover that all 4 plug wires hook to so I am thinking it might have to be 1 of those 3 wires that come from the harness and plug into that.

Not really a "race" post, sorry. Thanks in advance.

The three wire on your coil are power and two driver wires. I think. but have not try it but I would try one of the driver wires. they are just pluse grounds for the coil. Just like any coil.Going off the top of my head you should have a green wire ? that would be the power.
