69 charger,glove box latch,look like what?

hello,the part i'm trying to see is the part that mounts fixed to the dash,where the latch in the door locks to.changing my friends dash pad and the latch looked like an old screen door striker in a spring assembly,is that correct,anybody got a pic of the correct latch/striker? please thank you

your response got me thinking to back when i was raiding junkyards for parts for my Road Runner. i remember seeing other styles so i did a search and came up with this looped wire style in 1968 - http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?topic=43589.0 - just an FYI that i thought was interesting...........
