What are the mount options for putting a Gen3 in an E-body with stock k-member?
I see Schumacher has a sale going? Don't mind saving some money, but more importantly, want the best fitting option.
What did you use, pros, cons, regrets?

Thx

TTI seems ok for me, I have not worked with Schumacher.

If you plan on running a low mount [car] a/c compressor, confirm with Schumacher that their mounts will work.

TTI are nearly impossible to access once everything is installed in the car. I drilled the bolts and safety wired them, hopefully they won't need any attention.

I use the Schumacher mounts and everything bolted in great!
I had to do some clearancing on my aluminum remote oil filter mount but thats it. No AC on my setup though
3 track days & about 6,000+ miles so far and no problems!

Gen III's dont lend themselves well to any early K member IMO. If you can weld, cut the towers off the K member and make towers that line up to the Gen III so you can use the stock oil filter in the stock location and the a/c compressor as well. So much better to just reconfigure the K member to suit the engine rather than the other way around.

Mopar to the bone!!!

Not in my case. With the Schumacher mounts I basically just swapped out the old 340 with the new Gen3 engine. Everything fit in with no major problems along with the correct driveline angles. The shop I took my car to said it was the easiest engine swap they had ever done as it was all bolt in, no fab work, just minor grinding on the K frame. I did have to get the exhaust re-welded but thats because I got new Gen3 headers. If you have the k frame out, now would be the best time for it to be welded up and re-inforced.

Good info, I appreciate the feedback.
I'm not in a hurry, might be 2 years before I do the conversion.
I'll hold out on buying mounts, might be other options available by that time.

Saving $40 on free shipping now may not pay off in long run.

I guarantee that in 2 years those mounts will either not be available or substantially more expensive.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Quick update on the Schumacher mounts.
They are still doing great but I noticed that the driver side bolt that goes through the polyurethane bushing had loosened up over time due to vibration and slid back, luckily it stopped at the header and didn't fall off. My fault for not checking periodically. I had last checked it last year and never since but will now make it another routine check before going on a track day.

Good news is that the bolt is long enough that one can easily add a metal lock nut to prevent this issue. I'm also going to call Schumacher an notify them of my findings

Here is a pic of how the driver side mount is installed originally. There is a lock washer on the other side on the head of the bolt. The top bolt WILL shake loose and back off due to all of the vibration over time. Luckily the two 1/2" bolts protrude just enough to add a lock nut.

I tried adding an all metal lock nut but they were too thick so I used thin nylock nuts with red locktite and marked them as well.

I called Schumacher and they said that they will take note of the issue
