Hello All,

I've obtained an early (pre-VVT) 5.7 block to use as a mockup to fab solid engine mounts and a mid-plate. My intentions are to use a newer Eagle or Apache based engine for the final install, along with a 727 trans.

Anyone know if the external dimensions/relationships for the rear face of block to the engine block mounting pads on the sides of the older/newer blocks are the same?

My limited research indicates these relationships are the same for all G3 blocks, but I would like to hear from those who have experience.

Thanks!
