Well the new car has not stopped giving us fits for sure. First time we went out we had the internal shift linkage fall off in the transmission making for a very short day. Got that fixed and finally made it back out last Friday to a Midnight Mayhem race at LVMS. For those who don't know that is our once a month street car night. We ran with the LV Top 10 guy as they get a bit of track prep, at least a couple hundred feet worth anyway. Well this night was not any better, we lost transmission pressure on the third hit, actually likely second as well but racepack did not record that run. Sad part is this is a fairly expensive name brand new "killer" piece. Well so far all we have done is kill it. Just frustrating it is out of the car and hopefully we can get it figured out.

Here is a video from our third pass, worst one of the night as it was.

Some cars are just wrestlers, and some are sweethearts. I've had a few that just seemed cursed.
Hope your sacrifices to the God of Speed are just oddball bad luck and ends soon.

Al: Sounds as you need a magic wand. That sucks you have issues. All the time and effort that has been put into that car things should be spot on. You will get it figured out. Keep us posted on things work out. I know that I am curious on how it will run.

Bummer sorry to hear that Al. I know you don't play with cheap parts in your fast cars. Ron

Its been a challenge for sure so far. However the rest of the car seems to ne working flawlessly so far. One day it we will actually get a chace to do some tuning and improve on what we have. Already have some winter improvements on the list.

AS for what it ran 1.0x 60' and 4.xx at 14x smile But a long way to go in the tuning department. Not to mention track and weather conditions have not been ideal yet. But we will get there, or I'll sell it one of the two smile

lol No one has. The trans wont stay in working condition long enough to allow that to occur. Not sure we will make it or not. I am leaving for a vacation/wedding for a week right before street car so....
