Hello folks,

Some local guys here running 5.4s on the first day at the track. It's a small block mopar on Methanol. No bottle yet.

What kind of engine do you guess should be this?

https://youtu.be/mnoY_zcTsEo

For sure its a high dollar one..

Listening to the launch, I'd say a very big small block. Probably a G3.

. Disregard all the haters thank you for the video obviously the Brazilian taste in music is different than American but none-the-less great video and I'm glad to see the Mopar spirit is alive in Brazil

Yes, I also don't like the music and all the video production... but what you guys need to understand is how hard to have any part around here. Our currency is very weak and we pay at least the double as you due to import/freight costs so It´s not easy to put together anything and carrying Mopar brand aroud here....

Looks like a nice little track.

Cool view of the scoreboard and the lights of the town in the backround at about 8mins in.

Sounds like the car has a clutch.

I'm assuming that the trans is a G Force 5 Speed, correct?
That motor sounds sweet, good shifting also up
I was thinking there was no way anyone would put a W based race motor in a late model Challenger like that one, I guessed wrong blush

I was reading the category rules... and it´s allowed small block cast iron blocks, maximum 420ci and transmission and heads are free of choice. Maximum deck height for the block 9.56". And can use up to 500hp nitrous shot single stage.

Diego can correct me but I think the chevy 6 cylinders use a lot of NITRO on this category... don't know best ETs.

Good sounding ride. I kinda made my own Cliff Notes version of the video.
