Mi	If the material is there and the problem is loose fit IRT valves then just have liners machined into the existing guides...that seems to be an accepted practice by some of the better shops I know. Especially them being stage6 ...I wouldn't impose any unnecessary 'trama' onto them possibly causing other problems.

fast68plymouth I Live Here F Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 14,492 So. Burlington, Vt.	The original guides are .494” OD. I just ream the holes to .500” and use std .502” guides. 68 Satellite, 383 with stock 906’s, 3550lbs, 11.18@123 Dealer for Comp Cams/Indy Heads

Ports heads and can flow test.A good place to sent your heads!! HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

Sounds like the heads are off for servicing......... look close for signs of the seats moving around while they’re apart and clean. Pretty common on stage 6’s. 68 Satellite, 383 with stock 906’s, 3550lbs, 11.18@123 Dealer for Comp Cams/Indy Heads
