The original guides are .494” OD.
I just ream the holes to .500” and use std .502” guides.

Now there's a guy that works these all the time and is here to answer many members questions.Also can pick the right cam for the right combo! Ports heads and can flow test.A good place to sent your heads!!

Sounds like the heads are off for servicing......... look close for signs of the seats moving around while they’re apart and clean. Pretty common on stage 6’s.
