Just had to post.
Last night my young bloke pulls the valve covers off his 440 that is in his Aussie Valiant because it has been leaking a bit of oil from the cover bolts, lucky he spotted the head of a Manley head bolt sitting in the oil next to a valve spring. Managed to wind the leftover stud out and replaced the bolt with another I had. Looking to buy new now.

This morning my 547 engine has been sitting on the stand as a complete refreshed short motor for 2 months, I turned it over and the head of a ARP rod bolt fell off !!!

Both of these are fresh builds but we used the old bolts.
Whats next

Time to buy a new torque wrench or recalibrate the one you have.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
