My SB bolts call for 50# with the ARP lube.

It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

The type of lube used is important. Oil does not torque the nuts/bolts the same as ARP assembly lube.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

What rod size bolts at they? 3/8 or 7/16? stock with nuts or just bolts?
No numbers on the head? confused
If 3/8 with nuts for stock rods I have used them and may have the instructions for them still shruggy

ARP has 3 ratings for bolts 170,00, 180,00 and 190,00. The 17 is for bolts that were maybe 20 yrs old.
