The paired rockers clear a larger spring, are easily removed and installed and the geometry is easy to adjust by shimming the stands. I like to use pushrod oiling with them.

When I started building my B1MC I used the paired TD rockers.. the mentioned things above were some of the reasons but I believe the mounting bars add to the strength of the package.. the bars bolt in and as said you move the height easily.. I had to raise the height on my W-5s SB .060

I bought a used pair of B1-MC with the original shaft rockers and titianum valves, the intake valves are a bunch taller than the exhaust and the intake rocker geometry sucks I haven't decided yet if I will use Jesels or T&D paired shaft system , but definitely NOT those

The big B1 motor I worked on had the paired T&D setup. Very nice and never had an issue w/ it.

The paired rockers have a bit more room around them as well. Billet valve covers I've made for the paired stuff doesn't clear the common shaft rockers. Not sure if this is the case for the fabricated valve covers out there

does any one have any T&D common shaft setups ?? I need a shaft ?? Just Call T&D they will get you what you need. 1(775)884-2292 If it were me I would send them in and have them checked if you broke or bent a shaft.

With an MC head the paired rocker is the only way to go IMO. To take advantage of the potential of the cylinder head the spring pressure required will be way happier with the paired rockers and you will gain clearance for bigger(diameter)springs. We do have a common shaft original engine that makes right at 1000hp and so far so good, thankfully you can get really good small diameter springs these days but it down not have a huge spring pressure either 375/1050
