I have a billet dist in my w-8 that has no pick up in it and a crab style cap. It has no numbers on it. Called msd they say they dont make one. No go from mallory. Just curious if anybody knows who makes one or where to get one.

One day I will have something cool here.

Were the innards just pulled from it ?
Homemade ? I don't recall ever seeing one for a MoPar small block.
Front drive , sure. Regular dizzy.....nope.

MSD made one when they first started making crank triggers. They didn't have the crab cap though. I just sold one a few months ago when I bought the front drive distributor.

I got one cwith a crab cap. Maybe the cap/ rotor was same as a small chevy and somebody switched it over. But you answered my question the use to make them. In that case anybody got one? Thanks for the info.

I'm sure you are right....someone changed out the base/cap from a Chevy unit to make what you have. I was going to do the same thing before I went front drive.

That is a vintage part. I didn't know they ever came with a crab cap.

I collect vintage sb race parts...

I checked for parts numbers, no paperwork in the box and nothing on the parts
