Not in my experience. While I like the Superformance gaskets and use them, especially in places like the intake, they are just too hard to seal stamped steel valve covers. Frankly, it is hard to beat the Fel-Pros. Less expensive, readily available and they work. I also use some valve cover clamps on the lower edge holes. https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-9899-Chrome-Valve/dp/B000BWAPRK

Molded silicone gaskets with fiberglass reinforcement from Real Gaskets. I've never used these, but they look nice. I've used molded silicone on chevy stuff, and they worked great, and were pretty much indestructible. May have to get a set of these and see, thanks.

I've used those type of gaskets on the Camaro and reused them MANY times w/ no leaks. My hemi has the Indy cast covers, so all I need are the flat paper gaskets for it.
