I think he wants to know what heads fit that block and if it takes a different header.

I would have chimed in but since I retired I've forgotten is you can only use a 48* head on a 48* block or if you can use a 59* head on a 48* block.

Sucks getting old.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

Any of the W8/W9 48 heads will work, and the headers will fit great being they will be custom made for your car smile

Indy 360-1 and 360-2 can also be modified to fit 48*

My 48 has W-2 heads. If I could only get it put back together. Lol. Gathering dust in my living room as a coffee table.

Any 59 degree can have the push rod holes re-machined and be fitted to a 48 degree block. You could even do factory heads if you desired, not that you would. The push rod holes break through in to to the intake flange when you do however.
The Indy heads that were offered as 48 degree were cast with more material in the flange to avoid this.

Keep in mind it's not just the angle. The intake lobe itself is moved so the port can be wider. You'd need a big offset rocker to go with that move too.

Not impossible by any means, just not a bolt up.
