Looking at Snow systems for my 30 psi TT, trying to get A/F back to reasonable to control injector size.

I have tried it, didn't save my pistons.
There is a lot more to it than I imagined.

I would suggest Google Snow Performance etc..and read the forums.
Also Yellow Bullet has LOTS of talk about this topic.

Leave the ADI for the airplanes and the diesels...They use it to control EGT not AFR.

I don't personally run it but my cousin does on his 67 Firebird with a stroked 400 and a centrifugal blower. He really likes his setup and he pushes his blower pretty good for what it is (runs 11 flat). He has several years of significant street use and no failures. We don't believe that would have been possible without the injection.

I have read the snow & pro meth tech and comments,,,,BUT,it their website so I wanted to find opinions from other forums, especially here to get the REAL info. They claim an increase of up to 25 points with 92 pump gas. That lead me to think one of these WM systems could let me run in the 114 octane range on the pump & WM.Yes,the intercooling ability can't be disputed but I'm not taking any chances with a roots blown hemi.I should be able to get to my legal limit ET without it,but my mom told me when something sounds too good to be true,,,,,,it ain't! whistling

It does a good job of lowering temps.
But there is two immediate problems IMO.
Distribution.

Should it fail or fall short...instant melted piston .

I think it is a good thing on turbo and centrifugal stuff.
Just not as confident on a roots.
IMO

I'll let you know once the motor is back in. I blew a fuse at 26lbs of boost running 87 octane. The results were't pretty. I destroyed 8 forged pistons. (I accidentally under fused the circuit.)

It probably depends on the water to methanol ratio, correct work
If I was looking to use one of those systems to help control detonation I would be using at least 60 to 75 % methanol to water work I would do the jetting and tuning needed to get the best performance from both the engine and the injection system wrench up
Years ago back in the dark ages, before mandatory reversers, I was ask to help push a blown alky dragster back after his burn out. The lower part of the blower under the rotors and the blower manifold had ice built up on it from condensation and the intense cooling affects of the methanol work shruggy
It had ran less than 1 minute total time after the burn out so maybe 1 1/2 minutes total time running when I saw the ice shruggy

The max % is 20% of the total fuel used in a snow kit so you could just mix that in the fuel in the tank and jet the carb to correct it when looking to just cool the intake flow. The change in charge temps may only be 30* from total temp.
ps:You would use E not M in the fuel mix in the tank

The standard tank is 3 quarts, they do offer a larger reservoir.

My problem is that it's a street car, and not good to leave E85 (if I can find it) in a 26 year old fuel system for a month.
If I run 1,000cc injectors on pump 93 to be at 10-11:1 A/F for anti-knock (I can't retard more than the TT ECM yet) they tend to drool or produce big irregular droplets at idle and low speed.
Water/methanol: Messerschmidt Mercedes V12 80 years ago.

Down side: anything wrong kills the engine:
1. blown pump fuse (as said) or loose ground wire
2. line or jet obstruction (should have at least one filter)
3. bad distribution
4. bad math as to volume
5. empty water tank (the better ones have a warning light and/or an automatic shut-off)
...same as accidentally getting vacuum spark, reading the stamped jet size wrong (DAMN! That's a 50? I thought it was an 80), forgetting about the 87 you added to get home, blah.
