I am going tomorrow to pick up a r5p7 engine and 4 skids of parts. Was wondering if anyone else got abything?

Didn't know anything about it...I still want to get an R5P7 just never seem to find anything that intrigues me money wise.

A shame. Sign of the times. More & more liquidating or going out of business altogether.

When was it? I knew it was happing, I forgot the date. they had a few engine building stations I thought about bidding on.
Auctions can be a fickle thing.
I got lucky at an Estate sale last June, bought a bunch of 6.1 and 6.4 engines and parts , only 3 people showed up to the sale, and the other 2 fought over the Chevy parts

They didn't close. They were bought and relocated to Michigan. The auction was for stuff the new owner didn't want.

They put an R4 shortblock on ebay at no reserve. I bid on it, but I think they had an insider securing it, so it was not sold.

How was the pricing at the auction?

Some of the stuff went for penny's on the dollar. I stepped up for a compete engine that was in the showroom hoping it had internals. Looks like it don't but I still did ok. Will post picks tomorrow I still have 3 hours of driving to get home and I'm 17 hours into the adventure already.

This is the engine that I got. I cant make up my mind what I want to do with it. There are a lot of parts on it and they are all new. The problem is there are not rods and pistons in it also the heads are not ported and have no valves or rockers. will be a cool engine when its done. I don't really have a body that will take the hp that it should make. I might roll it in the house and stick it in the living room till I come up with a plan.
