Searched back a couple years but couldn't find anything on a valley pan for a low deck that works well with Edelbrock RPM heads. I have the Felpro bathtub I could use or mod. Would really prefer a thick aluminum piece like Indy's use. Looks like I'd have to fab that myself which is a possibility but really like to buy a proven one that won't leak and allow me to just use regular intake gaskets.

What you are looking for does not exist and will not ever exist.

I use the Fel-pro pan w/my lo deck and standard port Eddy's but w/Superformance gaskets cos the paper junk leaks and my manifold/heads haven't been this dry ever.............

I put Andy's plate and batwing set-up on my 512 lo deck and to tell you the truth it is a very nice way of doing it and the best part is,,,,,no leaks, very sturdy and looks great, I highly reccomend it.

Well I may have to have one made for me on a CNC.

I have not tried to do what the OP wants, but I'm thinking it's similar to what I've done on my hemi. Using an Indy valley tray and Indy intake on regular MP heads. The heads don't overlap onto the valley cover like the Indy heads do, it just leaves a slight gap in the V groove where they meet. Fill the gap w/ a bead of silicone, then you can set the intake gaskets on w/ the intake.
Some people may not like the amount of silicone needed, but it does work.

Yes you can do that. The billet valley cover will leave a v notch on each side which can be filled in with RTV. This works better if the engine has pan vacuum than if it has a lot of blowby. With pan vacuum the RTV gets sucked into the V groove and seals up. If it is a street engine and it has blowby then the pan pressure will blow the RTV out over time since there is nothing to hold it there. That is the whole idea of the batwings. The batwings are thin aluminum but that is all that is needed to reinforce the RTV.

This is what it looks like before you start filling in with RTV. You can't go very deep with the RTV since the intake manifold needs to seal around ports.
