I got a girdle for cheap but it came without any studs. Which studs do I need to buy to run it? I already have main studs but they are too short. Also which studs for the oil pan?

Engine is a 440.

thanks

Looking at my old ARP box I used 240-5501 with a 3/8" girdle

Thanks! Do you know how long they are? I'd rather buy single studs than a complete kit as I have several nuts and washers lying around.

You could put a screw driver in the main hole and measure up to the top of the girdle and add 1" for the nut, washer plus 2 threads. The rear, front dtud are just 1/4" shorter for pan clearence.I will see if I can get to the engine that has those studs in it.

I got 1 out and it is 5.250" long with 1 1/4" thread goes into the block and 2" fine thread at the top of the main cap for 2 nuts, washers, girdle.[some shims may be needed]
ps:The measurement I gave is for another kit I have no part # but the 1 I gave is for a windage tray also so it has a longer stud that has a stem for the tray.
