I've tested many carbs on my Dart lately both 4150's and Dommy's and recently did an 1150 for an 8-second 3400 lb pump gas BB Chevelle and that carb hands down out performs my 1050. Smoother, cleaner and wfo is sick and that's WITH no power valves so like we all say, give it what it wants and I'm going to build an 1150 for myself and sell the 1050.........Now, the bigger 4150's 950+ cfm are super snappy down low but can't even touch the 1050's in the mid and top end...........This is on the street and not the track but after owning driving and racing my Dart since the early 90's, I think it will translate to a new best here soon before our local 1/8th mile track closes the doors for good..........

I tried a 950 once and driving on the street it was super snappy. Felt crazy. At the track compared to my six pack tunnel ram it was 3 mph slower

Yep and the 1150 on my junk just flat out screams..........

just a quick question re dominators . When you fit transfer slot restrictors do you fit them front and rear or front only ?
I have hit the wall with my 4150 , so time to finish up the 1050 and cut manifold
Oh yeah do you recommend a Moroso safety plate with internal linkages ?

ALWAYS use a safety plate with internal linkage.

Ft and rear if you need em at all and I use the Moroso wooden 4-hole spacer when room permits.........

How much horsepower gain by going from a 1025 race demon to one of or dominator do you think just wondering if it's something to think about

Hard to say w/out knowing the whole combo, power, weight, gear vert etc............
