You would think in 90 degree heat you would slow down. My throttle stop bolt is turned in all the way. Still 9.42. Never thought I'd have so much trouble slowing it down.

It can be a bit{h to slow a car down... put in a longer
bolt... I lower the launch RPM and the shift points also

Who cares about the 9.42 on the brakes... I like the .000 light that went with it.

Nice run, 5.99 in the 1/8th. I assume he wants to run a NSS class that has a 9.50 index.

Pulled the timing back to 28 total, 9.485. First round won the double breakout by .016 @ 9.475 on the brakes. Took 2 more degrees out to 26. Then it all went wrong. I bumped in to far and went .027 red, car fell off to 9.539, My opponent went 8.761 on a 8.75 index with a .004 light.
Hope I've got all this out of my system for tomorrow.
Doug

Don't forget if you bumped in deep you took ET away so you may have it dialed in just right.
Very nice running and looking car.

I thought that as well. After watching the video I think it spun. I did roll in, buy not much. I think I missed the tree. I haven't got a good handle on hitting the index all weekend. What worked on the old car isn't phasing this one much. We'll take another stab in the dark tomorrow.

I looked at your car Friday Doug. The fit and finish on that car is flawless. A very fast show car.
