anyone use this crank in a 318-340,i have one and can't decided if the .200" gain in stroke is worth the cost of balancing to use it in a 318,i beleive .030" over would give me a 342" motor.I also have a 86 318 roller block. Beats a 331" ford,

if you're using 318 replacement pistons that are usually .100" down in the hole, that could make them zero deck. Of course now you might run into p/v clearance problems.

Keep an eye on the piston skirt to counterweight clearance.

That is something i will have to watch as 318 piston aren't designed to clear the counter weights of a stroker crank, but some will anyways. Also i can't find the 1.72" comp/height pistons i found before,it was like speed pro or fed/mog.
Can these cranks be balanced with 360 balancer and b&m 360 flex plate to save on mallory metal?
found them---http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=TRW-8K285NCP30&autoview=sku
