AndyF OP I Win A Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 30,994 Oregon	I had the battery in my 2004 Ram die while the truck was parked. Got the battery replaced and then the ETC light flashes and the engine has a rough idle. I found a procedure for resetting the ETC, basically just turn the key on, cycle the gas pedal to WOT and back and then turn the key off. Is that all it takes or is there more to it?

SNK-EYZ I Live Here Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 10,127 A Red State	I believe you have to turn the ignition on then slowly press the pedal 3 times, (not sure if that's accurate or not) then turn off the ignition. Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol
