Looking to paint the rockers & back of the cab & I don't have the paint code for the truck. It's got no metallic & it is a really fairly dark green. Anyone know of a good place to check out truck paint codes & possibly it's a fleet color?

you might check under vent cowl for metal data plate riveted to top of firewall on pass side. should have all the codes.

you might look at 77-78 dodge dark forest green...it is very close to what you have on there.

my 85 is a dark green like that but has gold metal flake and was a 2 yr only color option...very $$$ now days.

I've never seen a tag with a paint code on any truck. The only paint codes were on the sticker on the bottom of the hood. I don't know what year they started using those. 71s didn't have them.

The pillars look to be a light green which may be the original color, meaning the other color may have been painted later and could be anything.

The cab is from a cleaner truck, that's what I'm wanting to paint to match the darker green, the pillars, rockers & back of cab. The dark green was original, the vin decal is still intact & you can see it's never been taped off.

It may be that brite green.

There was a Bright Green in 71 on the Dodge Dude that looks similar to the chip, however it doesn't look like the Dark Green in the pictures. They could have changed the colors for 72. There was also a Pine Green which is pretty dark. In 73 there was Dark Green DT 7682 that looks like a possible match.
