Has anyone found a progressive rate or cargo coil front spring for our trucks? Getting ready for a front suspension rebuilt and would like to find one to hopefully help improve the ride. Thanks in advance.

1st gen D100 uses leaf springs not coils. What year are you working on?

You overlooked the part where I asked about front springs. All D series trucks 72-93 have front coil springs.

I did see where you said front springs, also saw 1st gen which isn't 72-93.

1st generation D-series use a solid front axle with leaf springs.

Gotcha. Some sites call the 72-93 first gen. Anyway, it is cleared up now.

As far as I've seen you can't get progressives for the 72-93 D100

I have a few buddies here in Tulsa that use a local spring shop that use the factory spring ratings & have them build springs with progressive rates & a little shorter than stock. Not sure where you are or what shops you have local but that's an option if you don't find an aftermarket vendor for them.

I always check with Spring Align, they are in the Chicago area but there are shops like them all over. wave
