My Father In Law's Li'l Red Express has a bit of slop in the lower end of the steering column. Does anyone have a diagram and/or link to the lower column support?

I have not had a column shift column apart and am curious what is going on down there and what needs replaced.

Thanks!

Mike....somewhere on FABO, there is a write up on easily installing a bearing instead of the stock plastic bushing. If originality is key, that may not be a good alternative, but just wanted to throw it out there. up

Thanks, I did that on my 'Cuda steering column, but I didn't think that same idea would work with a column shift. I'll have to look at it closer.
