I think Scratch had posted this before, but i can't find it. Looking to put a 10 inch wide wheel on the back of my 73. It has a truck 8.75 under it now, but i also have a b body 8.75. What backspace would I need for either. The truck isn't handy to get to atm, or I would measure. Thanks Bill

stock width truck axle will fit a 10x15 rim with 7.5 backset 29x15x15 M/T with tubs

I have the A-body 8 3/4 in the 440 truck with 12x15 with 4.5 BS 29x15x15 SR Radial with tubs

just installed my 67 C-body 30" axles (67polara) in the 85 stepside with a 10x15 with 4" backset 29x9.5x15 mud tire.

pretty sure you can fit a 10x15 with 4.5 BS with 275/60/15 tire on a stock truck with no issues with clearance/tubs.

I also ran the 10x15 with 4" BS 29x9.5x15 mud tire on a stock width 9 1/4 axle in the stepside and it fit with about a 3/4 to 1 inch clearance at the fender lip...never looked on the back side as it was already lowerd/tubbed.

before I flipped the rear axle on top of the springs I ran a 10x15 rim with 3.75 BS with a 32x11.5x15 mudtire on the stepside with no issues rubbing when loaded down.

I would guess a 10x15 with 4" BS depending on what tire used. tire bulge and inner tub clearance is the issue.

stock width axle with tubs you can go about 7.5 bs on rim with a 29x15x15 M/T

I have 15x10's with 5"BS on my 68 D100 Uteline with factory 8.75. Can't go with a more reversed rim unless I tub it or shorten the axle.

Works with fleet side, as well as step?
