I know this has probably been beat to death but I can't find anything with my searches. Has anyone been successful using magnum shorty headers on a small block 72' and up D100 with auto trans? Just thought I'd ask before I go through the effort of experimenting. Also, only asking because I have a set on the shelf.

I have used them on a 4x4, there were no issues at all. I don't think there will be anything in the way on a 2wd

Great! I'm surprised I don't see anything on this subject. I can't find pictures or anything.

depending on the headers the exhaust might not line up, mine were swept back and not center dump. That's the only issue I can think of. I had to find them in my scrap pile to see if I was remembering correctly.

Ya, the headers I have are for Dodge Dakota Magnum engines. They are the swept back ones, not center dump. If anyone has a picture of this set up installed that would great. I know it won't line up with stock exhaust, I'd have a new one built.
