I have a 1990 ram 150 two wheel drive with the 5.5" bolt pattern

I want to swap the rear end to an earlier 8 3/4 d100 axle with the 4.5" bolt circle

Is there a front rotor I can use to change the front bolt pattern to match

I already have the truck 8 3/4

yes a 82-84 d series chassis = 84 d150 front rotor or 76 new Yorker rotors = same as truck rotor 82-84

you can also use a set of 72-74 W100-W150 8 3/4 axles with the 5 on 5.5

I used a set of those axle in a 74 C-body 8 3/4 housing on a truck project once already.

are you staying with stock width truck housing? 59" flange to flange?

same as a C-body housing 59" f2f

I have 1 stock 74 8 3/4 housing left with 74 c-body 5 on 4.5 axles.

I just moved perches and installed a 67 C-body (polara) in my 85 stepside. tucked 10" rims in nicely.

what size rim tire combo you going with?

is the rear lowered on the truck?

Scratch. Thanks for the reply. I did some googling and confirmed the rotors that fit.

I didn't know the c body was the same width!

Truck isn't lowered. Planning to stay with the stock width.
I may lower it some but I'm not interested in slamming it.

15x10 wheels in the back. Something in the 30/31 inch tall tire that fills the wheel wells

I just got it running and the open 8.25 isn't going to cut it
I don't want c clip axles otherwise I'd go 9.25 and a Dana isn't I the budget

I figured 5x4.5 bolt pattern would open up used wheel choices too.

Not sure about the interchange, but my 1974 d100 has 5 x 4.5 pattern on the disc brake rotors. Maybe check on rockauto.com to see if they interchange, or check to see if the inner and outer wheel bearings are the same.

IIRc some of the early trucks used a larger bearing ID/spindle and will not fit the later spindles.

seems I tried a 78 rotor on my 85 spindle and the bearing did not fit.

not sure if you can change the race/bearing in those rotors or not. I returned them to the JY and got 76 new yoker rotors.

as far as stock width goes I was able to fit 10" rim with 4" back space 29x9.50x15 on my 9 1/4 had about 3/4" - 1" at fender lip on the stepside with no need to tub bed. lowered with flip flop on the axle.

4.5 backset will fit but I could not get a craiger v5 rim with the 4.5 BS only a 4"

IMO I think you could fit up to a 11.50 on a 10" rim 4.5 backset.

I have run a 10" 4.5 bs with a 275x60x15 as well, it's most popular around here.
