I picked up a '96 Ram 1500 that has a damaged steering wheel - the previous owners wedding ring chewed up the cover. I have a '99 Dakota that has a good steering wheel, but it is shaped different and the cruise buttons are by the thumb area instead of across the bottom. I know I can just put a cover on the '96 wheel, but I like the '99 wheels shape better. Anybody know if the wheels interchange? Both columns are tilt/cruise with no other functions, like radio controls.
