Is there anyone out there who can restore the outside coating on an original hood pin lanyard? I have a nice pair of originals with good cables and ends but the coating is cracked in places and some sections are missing. The superceded ones do not have the correct ends.
Thanks!

Assuming A12 type lanyards or A-body glove box lanyards? There's Plasti Dip and a product named Rubber Dip that might work? Also a chance that self valcunizing rubber tape if done correctly might work. Might also try asking over on the A12 (Registry) Playground site.

Found liquid tape from this Plasti dip that might work, like to see how it looks. https://plastidip.com/
