As I get deeper into my 68 road runner project, I'm finding more metal that's not savable. The trunk floor, front floor pan, and rear foot wells are out. I was planning on replacing those before cutting anything else, but my rear seat pan is riddled with rust too. I think it'd be easier to get the rear seat pan out before the front floor and rear foot wells go in, but I don't want the rear frame rails to fold in like an acordian either. The rear cross member, shock cross member are still intact and the front rails are braced to the rockers. The rear of the inner wheel tubs is already rusted away. I don't have a frame or body jig. I fabbed up brackets that bolt casters to the front leaf spring and front bumper mounts. Can I get away with cutting out the rear seat pan? Should I put stands under the rockers and rear frame rails? Or should I put the floor and rear foot wells in first? It is a post car and it's a bare shell. Long post I know but I value you guys opinions!!!
