I have to replace part of my RT stripe on my 1970 black Challenger convertible.
I ordered the red strip from Classic Ind. But, my red stripe does not match. Mine has more orange in it.
Anyone know where I can find that color stripe kit? almost a dark orange

We'll assume the current stripe on your car is a reproduction, and you don't know the vendor/mfg of the stripe, your best off contacting the various stripe mfg's and requesting a small sample for a match...chances are depending on how old the stripe is, and any UV induced color changes have occurred, you'll be replacing the entire stripe on that side of the car, as a match may be impossible

Back before anyone made chartreuse green rt stripes, I had a vinyl place match up a small piece of nos material and print out vinyl. Then had challenger gary make the stripes. You may have to get a lot more vinyl than you need though.

go to your local sign /vinyl store. they seem to be everywhere now.
they should be able to make a matching color stripe for your car.
perception is 90% of reality
