I have a gusher at the worm shaft seal on my power steering unit. It's bad. I filled the beast full of Lucas Stop Leak with zero results. Can anyone tell me what they used to get the seal in and out? Do I just peen the thing to shrink it and yank it? Knock the fresh one home with a socket?

I’m listening.

Alrighty. That's kind of what I was expecting.

I drilled a small hole in the seal housing, screwed in a screw and used it to pull the seal out. Worked great.
