Anybody have a picture of what a homemade anti cavitation plate would look like installed on a BB water pump? Thanks

I forgot to take a picture of mine before I put it on. But it looked just like this one that has been posted on here before.

Pretty simple, really. Just a sheet metal disk with a hole in the center and some tack welds.

Didn't notice much of a difference either way after I put mine on. My car never really had a problem in the first place...

Did you cut that plate in half to mount it, or did you press the impeller off then back on after putting the plate on?

yes you'd wanna cut it in half (for a BB) to fit it behind there.

I did mine in 2 pieces.

I's probably possible to pull the impeller and do it that way, but I didn't have access to a puller that would fit and I didn't want to risk bending the vanes.
