Mine is broken , any replacements out there? I tried to glue it but so far it does not hold , anybody have a fix , thanks.

A '69 should have the transmission-mounted BU light switch. (introduced in 5-15-68)

that's what i thought. i was sorely tempted to slog through the snow to double check. could that be a '3 on a tree' thing??

If it is the automatic with the indicator switch attached to the column, then its a plastic pin thats broken. According to the 1968 book the same one number was listed for all models using an automatic with column shift.
p/n 2883 211. If you check a '69 parts book to see if its listed, its in the steering section 19-46-44 as Pin, steering column gear tube switch, w/ auto transmission column shift.

Sometimes they show up. It takes some hunting and asking around.

One guy on FABO used a machine screwas a substitute.
