Replace a bench seat (73 Charger) with buckets? I am looking at the possibility of either repairing a bench seat (cloth needs to be recovered) or swapping in buckets.
Has anyone done it and how did it turn out -- Pictures?

Unbolt the bench seat and remove,
Find the dimples in the floor for the buckets,
drill out the proper dimples,
paint holes,
install buckets.

Plates should be welded to the floor. If that is not an option you need to use plates on top of the floor so the seats don't beat it down and below the floor so you don't rip the seat out under braking.
