Lots of info in the tech archives, they can flow 285-290 with a little work

Open chamber head, basically a 906-452 NHRA allowed replacement head, little better flowing port (which is confusing that it's NHRA allowed for STOCK, but still an OPEN chamber head.

the heads in the archives are mine and Dwayne Porter did the work. knowing what i know now i'd still try them again, if i could get a good buy on them. check for casting flaws, and if your going to port them let somebody like Dwayne do it. the class racers use them and seem to perform well. they're just not an easy bolt on and run performance head. also look at quench dome pistons with the open chamber heads.

I'd say it takes more than "a little" work to get that sort of flow, though. IMO, "a little" is a bowl blend and a chamber cleanup, not a full entry-to-exit porting effort.
