I ordered two holley 80457S carburetors with electric chokes for my 472 hemi with a stage v intake manifold. Will it work with two chokes or should I return the carburetors and buy two 1850 carburetors and one electric choke conversion kit? Or should I keep the two 80457S and remove one choke assembly and wire it open and have a spare choke. The two 80457s cost about the same as two 1850's and a choke conversion.

I have the same set up that you have. I have removed both chokes completly. (Plates and shafts.) I heard that removing them was worth a couple of H.P.

Thanks Cuda67. I'll try it with two, then remove them as necessary.
