I finally found the correct TRW power steering pump for my car. The return on the pump is the vertical outlet with a 5/8" line size, while the steering box requires a 3/8" line.. does this require a special return line or do I have the wrong size fitting on my steering box?? I am aware the later pumps had a smaller return outlet on the side of the pump, so I am wondering if its ok to run a reducer on the return line or if I need a bigger fitting on the box?? Any help out there..

I know you can swap the fittings out on the box. You just have to adjust it again so the car doesn't self steer.

Swaping boxes from a 67 to a 66 I had to do that, so I didn't have to find a new hose.
