Easier to do it with doors mounted on car...or on saw horses prior to hanging them..? confused

On the car much much easier in my opinion.
That's how i did it anyways.
On a bench or sawhorse is a PITA requiring a second person to hold the door steady and the angles do not work trying to align the window mechanisms. Besides, the glass will need to be adjusted to match the body's weatherstripping (on all hardtops)
