pullandrag OP member P Joined: Jun 2017 Posts: 148 Ks	Maybe stupid question but am firing a fresh 440 in the morning and don't have any trans linkage to carb I'm not a transmission guy but I remember in high school baling wiring the 904 lever for more pressure (stupid kid) but do I need that spring loaded arm to kickdown to have any kind of pressure to just break in a engine or just full of fluid OK???Thanks

A727Tflite master A Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 3,068 Michigan	As long as you don't drive it the kick down linkage is not in play. Even moving it in the drive or garage is fine w/o the linkage hooked up.
