Looking for actual use feedback here.

Google didnt produce many results on Rick E-s HIREV 7500 ign. box.

I found a couple things, one where it simply wouldnt work but who knows if it was doa or something in the system was not in line with everything else.

Im looking for feedback on how well it works and how the install went, just simple plug and play?

Ive a nos wire harness for my 76 duster im about done with and I want to use the box on and im trying to avoid, well I wont cut it and id almost buy a extra for a backup prior to even using this one just to keep all things equal and consistent.

I considered the revinator? box but for my needs and with a shift light already I dont need a limiter and if I did id not pay the $175 or whatever for that unit.

THANKS!

I've had one in my Challenger for over a year. No problems yet.
It was plug and play except Ehrenberg's instructions emphasized proper grounding.
Didn't notice any difference from an orange box for street driving, except it's cheaper.
Hope this helps

Had one in my '77 Aspen for over two years now and another one purchased from Jeg's in my Jensen. No problems whatsoever and yes, it's a direct replacement for the original Mopar box. I did however take care to use the correct coil/ballast resistor combination as per Rick's instructions.
I don't really care for the " high rev" part but it seems to be well built and doesn't break down like the orange box. It's cheaper too, so that's nice.
