318, 3 speed in the floor 8.75, is the bellhousing the same? Is it a dual pattern or just the same pattern, I know the earlier 3 speeds were different.

Thanks in advacne, Kevin

A 70 should be a dual bolt pattern on a V8.

/6's did not have the dual bolt pattern until later.

Are you are looking for one or have one and not sure what it may be? If you are looking for one beware the truck bellhousings because they are usually 11" flywheels not the 130 tooth 10.5" that should be in a Duster.

Not looking, I have a complete car I am trying to decide what to do with. I would really like it to go to someone that would do something with cause it is cool little car but with rust not likely anyone is gonna pay the value of the parts.

Thank you for the info.

I'll put it on ya Barry, I come to PA every month and it wouldn't be that big of a deal to bring the dually and driver. Did you get relocated?

Not quite yet. The bank accepted my offer, just waiting on them to have the paperwork ready.

I'll give you an update as soon as I can for sure though.

Good deal, depending on where you land I can introduce you to a few Mopars.

Cool, I make it to Mechanicsburg a few times a year for a few days, we have a dealership there. I'll buy you dinner one night.

To answer your question, yes.

I put a 68 4 speed out of a dart into my 71 Demon, that had a 3 speed and a 318. I see no reason it wont fit. All I had to change was the yoke on the driveshaft.

Cool, nice to know about the shaft being the same, I knew the yoke was a 904 yoke but I figured the length would be different between the 3 speed and a 4 speed.

Thanks
