Gathered one up the other day. Needs restored. I've never set on one. Improvement in seating or not? Neither of my challengers came with one. Worth installing or sell to someone who needs it? Thanks

I put one in my 73 Challenger and I love it. I'm able to get a little recline to it, which helps my bad back. I'm 5'10", and have plenty of headroom with it.

Make sure you buy the 2 re-inforcement pieces that go under the floorboards where you bolt down the 6-way. Might rip the floorboards if you don't use them. They are re-popped...

Dude. It's the only way to go in an Ebody. Make sure you grease it up well and get it working in every direction. Like above post; if it isn't greased, you'll think it sucks.

Once you get it in and rock it all the way back, it is like night and day. i hate driving my fathers 74 Barracuda without it because it's like a 90* seat angle; terrible.

get it installed and rock on!! BTW - i think resto rick has the brackets you need to strengthen the floor.

I like mine a lot because I can see over my tall Roadrunner dash. I'm not really sure if the "tilt" aspect is worth it but it is nice to change positions on long trips.

I'd like to find one, but at the prices they float on ( when they do ), don't think will get one ever!

Had one for years. Love it. I'm 5'10" so no head problems. Love the slight recline.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm missing a couple of springs on this thing. Anyone know where to get'em and how they attach.

I don't have a pic of one, but you can find a pic of a repop and copy the spring alignment. You can use some springs that you'd find at a hardware store...
