Hi all, this has probably been asked 1000 times but, i have a customer with a '70 Super B, stock dana and springs. Can you run a 10" ralley wheel with a 295/50/15 bf-ta ? He really wants a 9" rim but I cannot find anyone who offers that size.

thanks

Lots of room on a 70 B-body. Lots of people running 10" wide wheels. I think backspacing needs to be about 5". IIRC

I had 15"x10" Cragars on my Charger at one time. The back space was 5.5"
I currently have 15"x8" rallyes on it now.

Says it is an 8" rally. What is the total tire diameter of the 295/50-15 ?

I am using a 325/50R15 on my 70 Bee. No road time yet, but measures right with the right backspace. I can't remember the backspace right off hand though.

Sorry if I confused you. The Cragar's were 15x10. The fit with no problems. The Rallye's are only 15x8 but do have 295's on them with plenty of clearance all the way around with a 4-1/2 b.s.
