Installed the new fork in the stock bellhousing. Installed the bearing on the fork. The bearing is not even close to being centered over the pressure plate fingers. I can move the bearing against the springs and get more centered but it will not stay in this position. Is this normal?? According to Brewers I need .040-.060 clearance between the bearing and the fingers. According to Brewers all parts are correct. Please advise. Thanks

The bearing will center itself on the front bearing support when you install the tranny.
